TEEN FITNESS PROGRAM: Boy and girl members age 13 and 14, who are interested in working out in the weight room, can go through a Weight Room Orientation class. This class will teach them how to conduct themselves in the weight room and how to use the machines. Once they have gone through the orientation they will get a bracelet that they must wear when working out. They would be allowed to come with an adult member to the weight room, or beginning Monday, June 4, they may come from 3:30 – 4:30 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. During those times we will have a staff member in the weight room for supervision. There is no cost for the class, but the student’s membership rate will change from youth rate of $10.00 a month to student rate of $20.00 a month. If you are interested in a class, please sign up at the front desk and you will be contacted about a time for your class.

AEROBIC CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
STEP ‘N TONE: A non-stop hour of cardio, step, and sculpting moves ending with a great stretch leaving you ready to face the day!
MUSCLE PUMP: A total body strengthening class using body bars, free weights, resistance tubing, steps and stability balls.
SILVERSNEAKERS: This exercise class is designed for older adults. Exercises include work for all major muscle groups addressing strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, agility, speed and power. It is an equipment-based, multi-level, total body conditioning class using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, a SilverSneakers playball and a chair for seated and/or standing support.
SCULPT AND TONE: Join the “lunch bunch” for a 45-minute sculpting workout using free weights, body bars, resistance tubing, stability balls, and Pilates based moves.
BASIC TRAINING: A no-nonsense military style workout. Sprints, push-ups, abdominals, basic calisthenics and weight training are all included in this intense class.
PILATES: This is a core strengthening workout designed to lengthen and strengthen the muscles of the body, while improving flexibility and alignment.
YOGA: Relax, strengthen and soothe your body and mind in this beginning to intermediate level yoga class. You will increase your flexibility and strength through various postures and breathing techniques. A perfect compliment to all forms of exercise.
CARDIO KICKBOXING: Experience the fitness craze that will burn calories to the max! A variety of boxing and martial arts moves with an aerobic flare will help improve your balance and coordination while working up a sweat.

Basic Training class is taught on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. until 6:45. Class is taught by Rob Clapper.
