Swimming
MARTHA DENDY OUTDOOR POOL will be open May 24, 25, & 26
Also May 31 – June 1.  Then the pool will open June 6 for the summer session.
Pool Hours:   Mon-Sat      12 Noon – 2:30 pm    Family Swim
                     Mon-Sat       2:30 pm – 5:00 pm    Open Swim
                      Sun              2:00 pm – 5:00 pm    Family Swim
                     Tues-Thur    7:00 pm – 8:30 pm     Family Swim
Organized games will be played everyday from 1:00-2:00 during Family Swim.
Swimmers must show their current YMCA membership card, 2008 seasonal  swim pass or pay $2.00 daily fee to swim.  Seasonal passes are available for the summer for $120 per family, $60 for any single adult and $30 per youth.  These passes must be purchased at the YMCA.


















NEW CLINTON YMCA – LAURENS YMCA (COUNTYWIDE)_SWIM TEAM
The fall and winter schedule is August 11 – February 22, 2009 for any child that can swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke.  The Clinton and Laurens combined YMCA swim team will compete in the Carolina Swim League.  The Clinton team will practice each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4 – 5 pm at the Clinton YMCA pool and travel to the Laurens YMCA twice monthly on Tuesdays for a combined practice at 5:30 – 6:30 pm.  Six swim meets are scheduled during the fall and winter swim league for 2008 – 2009.  The cost is $30.00 per month and all swimmers must be YMCA members per the Carolina Swim League by-laws. 
The first practice of the season is August 11th at the Clinton YMCA at 4 pm.  There will be a parents meeting at the Laurens YMCA at 5:30 pm on Thursday, August 21st to answer specific details about the combined swim league.  Additionally, swim team info can be found at www.clintonswimteam.com or contact Ann Moore for more information at 833-1555.

WATER AEROBICS & DEEP WATER AEROBICS:  5:15-6:15  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday      Cost:  Free for members, $30 a month for non-members

SENIOR CITIZEN WATER AEROBICS  9:00 – 10:00
Arthritis Class – Tues & Thurs  Cost:  Free for members, $15 a month for non-members
SilverSplash – Mon & Wed  Cost: Free for members, $15 a month for non-members

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, while they are at the YMCA - unless they are participating in an organized activity.  They may come only during the time of the activity.  A guardian must be 18.

**Valuables:  We urge you to leave your money and valuables at home or locked in the trunk of your car.  If you bring your purse, wallet or watch to the YMCA we have lockers available for you to lock them in while you are here.  We are not responsible for personal belonging that are not locked up.
